Dear Friends and Families of Ars Flores,

As Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra ends an exciting Tenth Anniversary Season, we are faced with a financial situation that we have never faced before. Although this is not unusual for many cultural organizations this year, it is unusual for us. Because of the economy, our donations are down both from individuals and from foundations. We had to incur $50,000 in debt to pay for our season of performances and educational programs. We have agreed to repay this debt over a four-year period. We are asking you to please help us achieve this goal with a donation of any size. We appreciate anything you can do!

We wish to pay tribute to all of you who have worked so hard to ensure Ars Flores achieves its artistic and educational goals in our diverse South Florida community! For next year, Ars Flores is vigorously pursuing new avenues of income and new grants to help make up for anticipated shortfalls in foundation and private donations. This year, however, we were unable to anticipate this happening.

Ars Flores celebrated the milestone of our 2009-2010 Tenth Anniversary Season, ending with a Gala Buffet at the April, 2010 concert.  We have an exciting series of concerts planned for the 2010-2011 Season, but still need your help in supporting this cultural organization and keeping our music alive.
